The Differences Between Industrial Magnesium Chloride and Edible Magnesium Chloride

六水片状氯化镁

1、 The production process is different. Edible magnesium chloride is refined on the basis of industrial magnesium chloride production.

2、 Ther product standards are different. Main difference is in the limit requirements of several core indicators. For the content of "sulfate", edible magnesium chloride is required to be less than or equal to 0.4%, while industrial magnesium chloride is required to be less than or equal to 1% ~ 2.8%. For the content of "lead", edible magnesium chloride is required to be less than or equal to 1mg / kg (mg / kg), while no requirement for industrial magnesium chloride. For the content of "arsenic", edible magnesium chloride is required to be less than or equal to 0.5mg/kg, while no requirement for industrial magnesium chloride. For the content of "ammonium", edible magnesium chloride is required to be less than or equal to 50mg / kg, while no requirement for industrial magnesium chloride.

3、 The purposes are different. Edible magnesium chloride can be used as food additive in the production of bean products, while industrial magnesium chloride can only be used in industrial fields, such as the production of other chemical products, and also as raw material for the production of floor tiles, sanitary ware, snow melting agent and agricultural fertilizer.
